The program has been available since December of 2021, and it is designed as long-term assistance, not as a one-off payment.

There are two ways you can qualify for the ACP, and at Easy Wireless, we are here to help you through the process.

Qualify by Household Income

Have a household income no more than 200% above the guideline amount, which varies by the number of people in your household. Below is a chart:

Qualify Through an Assistance Program

The second way is if you or someone in your household gets a government benefit like Medicaid, SSI, or even WIC. The following is a list of programs that would automatically qualify you:

What Qualifies as Proof of Eligibility?

When you are asked for proof of being in a qualifying government program, you need to provide an official document with your full name, the program's name, and an issue date within the last year. Examples would be an approval letter or a benefit verification letter.

Proof of Yearly Income

For proof of your yearly income, the following documents are acceptable:

  • Tax returns from the prior year
  • A yearly statement of benefits from a Social Security statement of benefits
  • Veterans Administration statement of benefits
  • A statement of benefits from unemployment or Worker's Compensation, a divorce decree, child support award, or a retirement/pension
